The Beginning runs all year around and is open to anyone interested in acting, covering all the foundations of performance. Students may be just starting to build their repertoire of skills, or some choosing to stay and refine as students are welcome to remain in The Beginning for as long as they wish to keep working and improving their skills on a part-time or casual basis.
The Beginning is also great for someone who is interested in acting and wants to explore what it takes to be an actor – we just may even uncover some hidden talent!

Is this course for me?
The Beginning is a great all-round introduction to acting, covering an introduction to all the fundamentals that an actor needs.
Some people enjoy acting as a hobby but still want that professional training and coaching, others may be trying it out for the first time and will use these classes to establish the basics before graduating to more formal training. Maybe the last time you tried acting was at highschool!
Whatever your stage, there is always something new to learn and friends to be made. It’s also a great introduction to The Actors’ Hub approach and it’s thriving community of actors and coaches.
Course Outline
Weekly classes:
- Wednesday’s 6-9pm | Acting fundamentals and character creation
Fees:
- $330 for an 8-class pass.
This pass can be used to attend any eight of the Acting Fundamentals classes over a period of three months from the date of purchase.
- $1,320 for an annual pass (30% discount)
Attend as many classes as you wish during the calendar year.
